12/29/2022 0 Comments Grand prix 4 2019 mod![]() I call this the core part of my mod with all the cars files are compile and will received a lot of updates like performances and sort. ![]() The next step is to "calibrate".Finally, the core part of my ultimate f1 2019 mod is now up.Select "Controller A" from the list, a new window will open Click "acceleration device" drop down list on the right hand side Select controller A from the list, a new window will open Click "steering device" drop down list on the right hand side The next step involves assigning each of the axis in the user set as follows. You can optionally enter a name for the control set being created When prompted for the type of controller select "wheel" Click on one of the "Not Used" user sets The method outlined here involves creating what GP4 calls a "user set". Goto "main menu"->"options"->"controls" Now it is time to assign the various axes in the game.Goto "main menu"->"workshop"->"utilities"->"menu setup" According to some info in the news groups this behaviour can be disabled as follows:. This can lead to scrolling/flickering of the menus. GP4 seems to be reading the control axes data to navigate the menus.Ensure that the wheel is set up for separate axes in the control panel at ID1 in game controllers.Besides which, it appears that Phoenix and Mexico (two of my favourite 1991 tracks) aren't actually included yet.Īs well as all that, I always get a 'trouble sending command to program' error when loading mods. I've done all the updates and followed the instructions to the letter, but the mod won't run. Total physical memory: 255 MB (free: 224 MB) Here's the error log - if anyone understands this crap. CBA to fiddle with it now - time for bed. ![]() Nope - it won't play ball getting all sorts of errors but I've followed the instructions to the letter. ![]() I might try and install the 1991 mod just for the hell of it.Īnother update: game's now working as God intended: textures are fine, everything is fine. OK - update: I've got the game to run by playing around with the other compatibility settings (colours, resolution etc), but some of the car textures in game are messed up - this is with the game as is out of the box. This is really annoying, I was looking forwards to speeding around Phoenix chasing Senna again! Has anyone got an idea what's happening? I've tried it on Compatibility settings with XP (does the same thing) and Win 98/Me (doesn't even get to the SafeDisc screen). I finally managed to find a copy today and it installs fine, but then when I try to run it, it gets to the 'SafeDisc Macrovision' screen, then just goes black with a white cursor and stays that way until I kill the process. Never mind mods, never mind track packs: the game itself refuses to start. ![]()
